Current Observation Maps
The SECOORA Data Management Coordinating Committee (DMCC) is developing a comprehensive data portal to provide discovery and access to coastal ocean observations in the southeast US. During this development process, maps of in-situ and remotely-sensed observations are available.
Maps are created every hour from near realtime data collected by SECOORA members and regionally-active Federal agencies. Maps of in-situ and remotely-sensed datasets can be found and explored at http://secoora.org/maps/observations/. Comments on these maps can be sent to Jesse Cleary
These maps are a small initial component of the Data Portal under development by the SECOORA DMCC. The Data Portal will provide discovery, access, and metadata for SECOORA member data and ancillary datasets. Comments on SECOORA Data Portal development should be sent to Jesse Cleary to pass along to the full SECOORA DMCC.
