DESCRIPTION:The 2008 Workshop is a six-day residential\, professional 
 development workshop for middle to high school educators.  Twenty sele
 cted participants will experience and develop new strategies to use re
 al time information about the ocean--waves\, currents and winds.  In a
 ddition\, teachers will learn about how new technology and instruments
  are used by scientists to investigate the coastal ocean between North
  Carolina and Florida. Space is still open for applications.
