FY08-FY09 Membership Dues
According to the By-Laws, which define eligibility for membership in SECOORA, dues must be paid in order to be a voting member in good standing. The SECOORA Board of Directors has approved a dues structure effective for the fiscal year running from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009.
Dear SECOORA Members and Potential SECOORA Members,
During the past year, the SECOORA Staff, Board, and other dedicated individuals have worked hard on the process of creating a structure within which data collection, research and product delivery can be successful in serving the needs of the many stakeholders in the region. To assure the flow of federal and other funds to support existing and planned ocean observing activities, an active and dedicated regional association such as ours must exist and must operate cohesively and efficiently.
An explanation of member categories, voting rights and member privileges can be found on Article II of the SECOORA bylaws.

The SECOORA Board of Directors has approved the following dues structure effective for the coming fiscal year running from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009:
- $1000. annually for Institutional Members
- $3000. annually for Sustaining Members
- $250. annually for Individual Members
Your invoice for dues for the FY 2008-09 is attached and dues are now payable. The SECOORA Federal ID is 606685. Please contact Elaine Knight at (843) 953-2078 or Elaine.Knight@scseagrant.org for a W-9 form.
