SECOORA Maps

SECOORA researchers are developing a comprehensive data portal to provide discovery of, access to, and metadata about coastal ocean observations in the southeast US. During this development process, SECOORA near real time Observations and an Inventory of regional observation assets can be accessed below.

SECOORA Map Finder

The SECOORA Map Finder queries pre-cached maps of recent SECOORA data. Maps can be then bookmarked or embedded as they are updated hourly.

SECOORA Interactive Map

Explore and query data through the SECOORA Interactive Map. Pick which variables overlay the map. Zoom and pan. Bookmark your favorite view. Click on any in-situ wind, SST, water level or surface current observation to retrieve latest data.

SECOORA Current Observation Maps

SECOORA Current Observation maps are created hourly from SECOORA member data and ancillary regional datasets. The maps include HF Radar Surface Current animations.

SECOORA Asset Inventory Map

The SECOORA Asset Inventory Map is an overview of known observation stations monitoring the coastal ocean of the Southeast US.
