Employment History and Work Accomplishments
Denise Johnson is currently employed as Vice President with Resolve Marine Group, Inc.; responsible for transitioning the company into the U.S. Government business sector. Ms. Johnston established a successful strategy to market Government ship disposal / artificial reef programs. Denise has organized within Resolve Marine Group efforts that bid and won three contracts in three years for scrapping and/or reefing government vessels with total project values of approximately $30 million dollars.
Other past experience included 24 years employment by a government contractor with direct responsibility for vessel/facility operation contracts. Last position was Senior Vice President with five years on the Board of Directors. Ms. Johnston served as the direct liaison with the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Naval Underwater Warfare Center, Atlantic Underwater Test and Evaluation Center, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Customs Service.
