Evans Waddell
Candidate for Private Sector Institutional Member Board of Directors seat.
Evans Waddell has worked in the Raleigh, NC office of Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) for 30 years. At present, he is an Assistant Vice President and Senior Oceanographer with the corporation. While at SAIC, he has held positions that involved the technical, financial and operational activities of several management units. He has also been a principal investigator on a number of physical oceanographic projects. As a program manager, he has been responsible for the technical, financial and operational aspects of a number of multiyear physical oceanographic programs involving a range of activities from program design through process description and characterization. For the past several years he has been a member of the SECOORA Steering Committee that has worked to develop an active and appropriately structured Regional Association for the SE. He is also one of the SECOORA representatives to the National Federation of Regional Associations (NFRA).
