We are planning a pre-conference workshop titled "Data and Information for Offshore Energy Development in the Southeast: How Ocean Observing Can Help to Fill the Gaps." The goal of this workshop it to identify ways in which SECOORA can plan to address information gaps for the states in its region (NC, SC, GA, FL) through its ocean observing capabilities, including gliders, buoys, and HF radar.
Date: Tuesday, November 2nd from 11:30am – 5pm, lunch to be provided.

Who is invited? Decision-makers in the public and private sector with an interest in offshore energy development, including public utility representatives, natural resource managers, state department of energy, private developers and others with an interest in offshore energy development and ocean observing in the Southeast. The maximum number of attendees for the workshop will be 30 people.
