In response to the Infrastructure Investments and Jobs (IIJA) Act (PL 117-58), 2021, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Ocean Service (NOS) U.S. Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) Office solicited proposals for two-year projects supporting Implementation of the Infrastructure Investments and Jobs Act. Congressional funding has been approved under Operations, Research, and Facilities (ORF) to support (a) improved and enhanced coastal, ocean, and Great Lakes observing systems and (b) to enhance associated sharing and integration of Federal and non-Federal data.
