SECOORA is looking for a Grants Manager (Remote) to help power the work of the coastal ocean observing across the Southeast.

This is a critical role on our team. The Grants Manager will lead full life-cycle grant management, from budget development and subaward agreements to compliance and award tracking, to supporting up to 15 grants a year and a network of 40-60 Principal Investigators at roughly 20 institutions across North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.

The right candidate brings 5-7 years of experience in grant and contract compliance, ideally with direct experience managing federal awards. NOAA experience is a strong plus. They’ll need a solid grasp of 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance) and federal cost accounting standards, along with the judgment to work independently and the organizational skills to keep multiple awards on track at once.

This role sits at the center of SECOORA’s mission: turning ocean observing into real support for coastal resilience, marine safety, and a thriving blue economy.

Location: Candidates must reside in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, or North Carolina.
